According to Ignazio Genuardi Premier League side Everton are targeting a move for Marseille striker Bamba Dieng, alongside discussions with Strasbourg for Ludovic Ajorque and Rennes for Serhou Guirassy.

Fabrizio Romano  reported last week that two Premier League clubs were keen to sign the Senegalese international with Marseille setting a €15m asking price to allow the 22-year-old to leave the Velodrome this off-season.

The striker looks set to leave Marseille soon after being deemed surplus to requirements by new coach Igor Tudor, who criticised the player for supposedly becoming unfit over the summer.

The Senegalese international has barely featured in pre-season since scoring a hat-trick against Marignane-Gignac in mid-June and has not been included in match preparations for recent games at all. Instead, the striker has been relegated to training on the fringes of the group with Dutch international Kevin Strootman, who has been deemed surplus to requirements by the club.
