DENVER, CO — Dubbed the “feel good” story of the week by many, a Frontier flight attendant’s kind-hearted interactions with a crying baby have been applauded by thousands of people on social media. The flight attendant helped a mom calm her baby on a flight from Tyler, Texas, to Denver, Colorado.

In a post on Facebook, a witness said she was taken aback by the heartwarming moment.

“This flight attendant on Frontier Airlines from Tyler to Denver helped a mom calm her screaming baby, and it was PRECIOUS!! It was her first time to fly solo! It’s the feel good story we need today,” Jamie Applegate Hunter wrote in the post.

Hunter shared three photos of the flight attendant, Joel O Paris Castro, holding the baby and laughing with her as the two strolled around the plane.

“Days like this make being a flight attendant the most rewarding job ever!!” O Paris Castro wrote in his own Facebook post. “She just wanted to explore the plane!!”

The attendant told Fox News that the baby’s mom looked like “she could’ve used a well-deserved break.”

“I’ve always thought it takes a village to raise children,” he told Fox. “And besides, I bet my mother could’ve used a couple of breaks when I was growing up.”

In a statement, Frontier said the company is proud of O Paris Castro.

“Frontier is known for being family-friendly airline and we love that our team goes above and beyond to ensure everyone has an enjoyable flight,” the airline said.
