Gilles Grimandi in pole to become Rennes Sporting Director

Canal Plus report that ex-OGC Nice Sporting Director and Arsenal scout Gilles Grimandi is set to become Ligue 1 club Rennes’ Sporting Director.

SRFC have been seeking to replace recently departed club president Olivier Létang, and have made the first concrete move in that direction today by appointing Nicolas Holveck in the Director General position, which he currently occupied at rivals AS Monaco.

Holveck will deal with all administrative matters at Rennes, but he will not be involved in transfer negotiations.
