Heidi Klum wore two bridal gowns at her Capri wedding to Tom Kaulitz

Over the weekend, supermodel Heidi Klum joined the growing list of celebrities, including Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas, who have held a second wedding celebration after tying the knot at an earlier date. 

Klum, 46, is reported to have legally wed musician Tom Kaulitz, 29, in California earlier this year, with People reporting the couple “obtained a confidential marriage certificate in California” back in February. The couple announced their engagement in December of 2018, nine months after the Project Runway host and Kaulitz sparked rumours they were dating.

For their second wedding celebration, the couple held a beautiful ceremony and party for their family and friends on luxury yacht, Christina O, in Capri, Italy this past Saturday, August 3.

The luxury yacht once belonged to Jackie Kennedy Onassis’s shipping magnate husband, Aristotle Onassis, and reportedly played host to many celebrity gatherings when it was owned by Onassis, a tradition that continued over the weekend when it was the location of Klum and Kaulitz’s wedding.

According to E! News the couple said “I do” in front of their friends and family on the yacht with Klum’s children — Leni, 15, Henry, 14, Johan, 12, and Lou, 9 — standing next to the couple as they exchanged their vows.

Photos shared by E! News show Klum in a romantic fairy-tale princess off-the-shoulder white wedding gown with dramatic oversized sleeves and embroidered detailing. The supermodel wore her blonde hair out with a tulle veil completing the look. The bride appears to have gone shoeless in a relaxed nod to the location of their wedding. The groom wore a stylish cream suit with a blue shirt. A number of fan accounts shared images on Instagram of the dress, see below.

 

Following the ceremony, which Extra.ie reports was officiated over by Kaulitz’s twin brother, Bill Kaulitz, the publication reports Klum changed into a second bridal look of a sleeveless white lace dress to celebrate with her husband and their guests for the rest of the evening. Fans also took to Instagram to share pictures of this second look.

While the model didn’t initially post any images to her Instagram feed during the wedding weekend, on the Monday following the wedding, she shared a stunning image of herself and her groom kissing under an incredible flower canopy on the yacht. The model captioned the picture: “We did it. Mr & Mrs Kaulitz” followed by multiple heart emojis.

The model also posted a number of sweet images from the weekend. In one photo, she and Kaulitz are with his twin brother and she is wearing a bridal-style white halter-neck silk gown.
