IMPACT Wrestling brings to you their Bound For Glory PPV Event which takes place from The Melrose Ballroom in New York City.
Advertised for tonight’s PPV: IMPACT World Champion Austin Aries defends his IMPACT World Title against Johnny Impact, IMPACT Knockouts Champion Tessa Blanchard defends her IMPACT Knockouts Title against Taya Valkyrie, LAX (Santana, Ortiz & Konnan) will take on The OGz (Hernandez, Homicide & King) in a Concrete Jungle Death Match, oVe (Dave Crist, Jake Crist & Sami Callihan) will face The Lucha Brothers (Pentagon Jr. & Fenix) & IMPACT X-Division Champion Brian Cage in an oVe Rules Match, Eddie Edwards will square off against Moose in a Singles Match, Matt Sydal & Ethan Page will battle Rich Swann & Willie Mack in a Tag Team Match, Eli Drake will take on an opponent that is yet to be determined & Allie Enters Su Yung’s Undead Realm. Bound For Glory opens up with a video package hyping up each of tonight’s matches.

Josh Matthews & Don Callis welcome us to tonight’s PPV in New York City as we get to the first match of the evening.
– Rich Swann & Willie Mack def. Matt Sydal & Ethan Page when Swann pins Sydal off the Phoenix Splash. After the match, Willie Mack cuts a promo in which he just really gives away a couple of front row seats and puts over their sponsor.
Josh Mathews & Don Callis recaps Johnny Impact & Taya Valkyrie’s interview on TMZ talking about Austin Aries. We then see Aries & Impact nearly coming to blows at the end of Abyss’ Hall Of Fame Induction Speech. Callis & Mathews then talks about the situation and then suddenly sends us backstage.
We head backstage where we see that Konnan has a metal dolly and some weight equipment on top of him. He says that King attacked him and he looks to be out of tonight’s match. Konnan then tells Ortiz & Santana to go out and handle their business against The OGz.

Eli Drake heads out to the ring because it is time for his open challenge to any New Yorker. Drake grabs the mic and says that he rolls into NYC and wants to see the best that NY can offer him. Drake then says that he has looked around and hasn’t seen anyone. Drake then says that he does see some players from The New York Giants, but he can’t believe it’s any of them. Drake makes fun of The Giants’ 1-5 record. James Ellsworth comes out. Drake says that Ellsworth is from Maryland, not New York. Ellsworth then says that he did date a girl from Staten Island. Despite being the face, the crowd mainly booed Ellsworth. We then get a “F— you, Ellsworth!” chant from the crowd.
– Eli Drake def. James Ellsworth via two Gravy Trains. After the match, Drake gets on the mic and says that he wants something more than that. Drake then says that he wanted hall of fame material. Abyss makes his way down to the ring. The two end up brawling in the ring. Abyss goes out and grabs a table, sets it up in the ring and nearly puts Drake through it. Drake fights back and looks to drop down on the table through Abyss, but Abyss grabs him by the throat and chokeslams Drake through the table.
We get a backstage interview from earlier today where McKenzie Mitchell talks with IMPACT Knockouts Champion Tessa Blanchard about tonight’s match and if Blanchard is confident about her chances. The champ is almost insulted by that question. She says that Taya calls herself Lucha Royalty, but Blanchard is the real royalty. Blanchard then says that diamonds are forever and the title isn’t going anywhere.

– Tessa Blanchard (c) def. Taya Valkyrie to retain The IMPACT Knockouts Title with a flying top rope Code Breaker. Both women kicked out of each other’s finishers during the match.
We get a backstage interview from earlier today where Moose talks with McKenzie Mitchell about tonight’s match against Eddie Edwards. Moose says that tonight will be the final nail in the coffin and he plans on ending Eddie.
– Eddie Edwards def. Moose via DQ because Killer Kross chokes out Edwards from the crowd within the first three minutes. After the match, Kross tosses Edwards in the ring and Moose continues to hammer away on him. Moose with a weak pump kick on Edwards and out comes Tommy Dream with a kendo stick. He smacks both Kross and Moose out of the ring, grabs a mic and tells the two guys that they don’t know where they are. Dreamer then says that the crowd isn’t going stand for a finish like that and calls for the bell to be rung.
– Eddie Edwards & Tommy Dreamer def. Moose & Killer Kross when Eddie rolls up Moose after Moose misses with a kendo stick. After the match, Kross chokes Edwards out and Moose hits him with a spear. They take him out and hit him with a double powerbomb on the edge of the apron.
We head backstage where oVe (Sami Callihan, Dave Crist & Jake Crist) hypes tonight’s match against IMPACT X-Division Champion Brian Cage & The Lucha Brothers (Pentagon Jr. & Fenix). Callihan says that they plan on putting Ohio as the capital of wrestling.
– oVe (Sami Callihan, Dave Crist & Jake Crist) def. IMPACT X-Division Champion Brian Cage & The Lucha Brothers (Pentagon Jr. & Fenix) in an oVe Rules Match (which is apparently a Texas Tornado Trios Match) when Callihan pinned IMPACT X-Division Champion Brian Cage after a flurry of kicks to the head from all of oVe and a piledriver.
We head backstage where McKenzie Mitchell talks with IMPACT World Champion Austin Aries about tonight’s match against Johnny Impact. Aries just stares angrily at the camera for a moment and says that when he first came to IMPACT the promotion was on life support. Aries then says that he has busted his ass to built the title back up and feels like he has done a pretty good job. Aries then says that Johnny Impact just waltzes back in (when his schedule allows for it) and suddenly the title is the most important thing in the world to him. Aries thinks that Johnny Impact is a liar. Aries then says that he will bring his guys to the ring and he wants Impact to bring Taya ringside as well. Aries then says that “This isn’t a reality show. This isn’t some s—ty ‘B’ movie. This is my life.”
We head to another area backstage where The OGz jokingly give a tribute to Konnan, who they took out earlier tonight. King says that tonight they are going to show Ortiz & Santana what it means to come up the hard way. King then says that this is their town, not LAX’s town.
– LAX (Konnan, Santana & Ortiz) def. The OGz (King, Hernandez & Homicide) in a Concrete Jungle Death Match. (In this match, there was no canvas/pads in the ring. Just the wooden boards). (The turnbuckle pads have also been removed). Konnan came out with a flapjack at the end of the match to take out Hernandez & Homicide, while King took a Street Sweeper from LAX.
Allie goes to The Undead Realm by entering the coffin just like Father James Mitchell promised. Allie bumps into Father James Mitchell and he reminds her that if she sees her soul, it stays with him, so no touching. Allie (with a small ax) heads through a creepy building. She hears a noise and looks around. An undead bride shows up and starts choking her. Allie smacks her with the butt end of the ax and then with the ax itself. Allie bumps into another undead bride and jacks her up with the ax as well. We then see blood splatter all over the place. Allie ends up finding her soul, but ends up moving on from it. She finds a coffin where Kiera Hogan is at. From behind is Su Yung with a big ax of her own. Yung welcomes Allie and takes a swing, but Allie blocks it, then dodges a couple more swings. Yung finally drops Allie, chokes her and takes the mini ax. Yung goes for a swing, but Allie block it. Yung then locks in the mandible claw on Allie. Allie looks to be fading as Yung pulls out a knife and Allie suddenly wakes up and whacks Yung in the neck with the mini ax. Allie wakes Hogan up and gets her out of the coffin. Hogan is out of it as Allie leads her back to the exit. They can’t get the coffin open though and Father James Mitchell shows up. He laughs and says that he promised to let them in, but didn’t say anything about letting them out. Yung and The Undead Brides show up again and close in, but Rosemary shows up and fights them off. She says “Hi, Bunny. You shouldn’t be here” to Allie. Rosemary helps them open the coffin, but Yung shows up again. Rosemary fights Yung off in a cosmic battle. Hogan and Allie get in the coffin and are able to make it back. Allie wants to go back, but Hogan say no. Allie yells at Hogan and doesn’t look to be 100% alright have sold her soul.
IMPACT Wrestling is returning to Nashville, Tennessee at The Asylum for their next PPV.
– Johnny Impact def. Austin Aries (c) to win The IMPACT World Title. After the match, Aries was furious as he immediately got up and flipped the bird to the crowd. It looked like Aries yelled at Callis (or someone up above) and he immediately went to the back. Johnny Impact celebrates in the ring with Taya as Bound For Glory goes off the air.
