Inside the 2019 TAB Everest Ladies Breakfast
On Monday October 14, Tabcorp, Sky Racing and Vogue Australia joined forces to host the annual TAB Everest Ladies Breakfast event, which welcomed race-going guests—including the likes of Vogue editor-in-chief Edwina McCann, Jesinta Franklin, Viktoria Novak, Libby Hopwood, Bec Lyons and Hayleigh Adam—into The Ivy Sunroom for a morning filled with fun, fashion and good food.
Celebrating women of racing and style, the event saw pastries, fruit, frittatas and scrambled eggs served, before a series of guest speakers took to the stage to discuss one of the most highly-anticipated aspects of Everest Race Day—fashion and beauty.
Chantelle Ford of Ford Millinery touched on the headwear influencing trackside style this year, Lover marketing director Danica Brown discussed what trends we can expect to see at Everest, Kash O’Hara from The Style Doctor talked about the importance of getting the total look right on race day and Vogue Australia’s senior beauty and health editor, Remy Rippon, shared her top beauty tips for a day at the races.
While almost every shade of pink was worn loud and proud on the morning, and an assortment of florals and pastels took centre stage, guests were encouraged to incorporate a splash of blue into their Everest Race Day outfits as they posed for photos with the TAB Everest trophy on display.
