Is baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor already doing yoga?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are getting used to life as a family of three after presenting baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor to the world earlier this month. During this adjustment period, the Duke of Sussex has taken on very few royal engagements and we rightly haven’t seen a glimpse of the Duchess of Sussex as she settles into her maternity leave.
Luckily, the couple have been fortunate enough to have Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, in town, though royal experts say she has now left and returned to LA. Not before imparting her vital wisdom, though, with one royal expert confirming baby Archie might have taken up yoga already.
As we know, Ragland is a yoga instructor, and Vanity Fair’s royal correspondent, Katie Nicholl, confirms the new grandmother is trained in baby yoga. “Meghan, who is nursing, has relied on her mother, who helped cook nourishing meals for the family and trained in baby yoga before arriving in the UK,” Nicholl shares. We do know that Markle is a lover of yoga too and the couple even had a mother-and-baby yoga room, complete with a floating floor, built into Frogmore Cottage during the renovation of the home.

Although Ragland has left, she will apparently be splitting her time between the US and the UK, so we can expert her to join the family again in due course. However, Vanity Fair’s Katie Nicholl shared the couple have also started their search for the perfect nanny, so they can have one lined up by the time the Duchess of Sussex returns to work.
“There’s no chef, no valets, just them which is how they want it to be,” a friend of the couple told Nicholl. “Of course they will have help in time, but they don’t want to be surrounded by staff at the moment.” Another source shared Ragland was “indispensable” in helping the couple prepare for the birth of their first child, and was even present at Archie’s birth.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have otherwise kept quiet over the past few weeks, even when a CBS special aired across the globe that focussed on the young family. Titled Meghan and Harry Plus One, the documentary was hosted by Oprah’s best friend, Gayle King, who also went to the Duchess of Sussex’s baby shower in New York. In the documentary, which aired on May 19, King spoke to a number of Markle’s friends, including make-up artist Daniel Martin, who revealed how the Duchess reacted to Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s tribute to her at the Brit Awards.
“I sent her a pic,” he said. “I think it was a screen grab of the two of them in front of the portrait. I think all I wrote was, ‘Girl.’” He added: “She wrote me back like the big eye emoji.”
Martin also revealed the Duchess of Sussex doesn’t have a stylist, confirming she dresses herself. “She doesn’t have a stylist, everything she wears she picks herself,” he continued. “No stylist. It’s pretty incredible that she can manage all of this.”
Meanwhile, the rest of the royal family are preparing for a visit from Donald Trump in the first week of June, which will be attended by the Queen, Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry. Notably missing from the list is Markle, who was born in the US, however it seems likely this is due to maternity leave and not because she bowed out of the meeting.
Instead, it seems the next time we’ll see the Duchess of Sussex is at Trooping the Colour, the Queen’s annual birthday celebrations.
