Killer Kross appears on NXT after Ciampa/Gargano confrontation
After weeks of vignettes building up to it, Killer Kross made his first NXT appearance tonight.
The brief appearance by Kross came at the very end of the program. Triple H confirmed that Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa would meet in two weeks on NXT television. Gargano and Ciampa had a staredown, then a video suddenly started to air. A number of images were displayed on the screen, some of them clearly showing Kross, who was not mentioned by name.
Kross signing with WWE was officially confirmed back on the February 4 episode of WWE Backstage. Scarlett Bordeaux, who is in a relationship with Kross, signed with WWE last year after being granted her release from Impact Wrestling. Them being paired together in NXT appears to have been teased in Kross’ videos.
Before joining WWE, Kross had runs in Lucha Underground, AAA, and Impact Wrestling. Months after he requested his release, Impact confirmed in December that it had been granted. Kross also wrestled at MLW Fightland in February.
