Lee-Balor-Ciampa No. 1 Contender Match Announced, Update On 12/18 Edition Of NXT On USA

A big triple-threat match has been announced for next week’s edition of NXT On USA.

WWE has confirmed Keith Lee vs. Finn Balor vs. Tommaso Ciampa for the 12/11 episode from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida to determine the number one contender to NXT World Champion Adam Cole of The Undisputed ERA.

The winner of the Lee-Balor-Ciampa match will become the new number one contender to the title, and will earn themselves a guaranteed title shot against Cole on the following week’s edition of NXT On USA on Wednesday, December 18th.

The match was announced by NXT General Manager William Regal during Wednesday night’s edition of NXT On USA after Lee pinned Cole in a six-man tag-team match that saw Lee, Ciampa and Dominik Dijakovic defeat Cole, Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly in a bout that also featured Balor interfering.

As noted, the 12/18 episode of NXT On USA will also feature the highly-anticipated NXT Women’s Championship showdown between Shayna Baszler and Rhea Ripley.
