Leinster won’t be playing their Champions Cup quarter-final on Good Friday after all

THERE WAS A bit of agitation when news spread that the powers that be were considering scheduling Leinster’s home quarter-final with Bath on Good Friday but Leinster CEO Mick Dawson’s protests look to have been heeded.

Leinster’s knockout clash at the Aviva Stadium will be the first quarter-final played but it will be on Saturday 4 April at 15.15. Later on that evening, Clermont will host Northampton in the Stade Marcel Michelin at 18.45.

The following day, Racing Metro will play Saracens in the Stade Yves-Du-Manoir at 13.45 while Toulon take on Wasps in the Stade Felix Mayol at 16.45.

Connacht will visit Kingsholm to face Gloucester in the Challenge Cup quarter-final on Friday 3 April at 19.45.
