Lyon youth midfielder Mohamed El Arouch extends contract

Lyon have this morning announced the contract extension of 18-year-old midfielder Mohamed El Arouch, on a deal running until 2025.

The French youth international notably opened the scoring in Saturday’s Coupe Gambardella (French youth cup) final against Caen, before going on to score the winning penalty to lift the title.

The midfielder had signed his first professional contract last summer, and has since trained with the professional team and played with the reserves as well as the youth teams.
