Marseille manager Rudi Garcia wants Iker Muniain

Marseille manager Rudi Garcia has instructed Sporting Director Andoni Zubizarretta to make an approach for Athletic Bilbao’s diminutive Spanish attacker Iker Muniain, according to L’Équipe.

A deal in January appears to be very complicated however, with Muniain just recently winning a place back in the club’s starting XI in December. He has a release clause of €45m, and although Bilbao are not entirely closed off from negotiations, it would be an enormous deal for OM to pull of next month.
