More on Ronda Rousey Leaving After WrestleMania, Update on Asuka

While RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey is still believed to be taking time off following WrestleMania, these plans are obviously not set in stone because WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon does not want there to be a perception that his top stars want to leave. This would be the reason that he keeps offering Brock Lesnar more and more money to remain with WWE despite all the reports that he is going back to UFC.
There has been no decision made on who Smackdown Women’s Champion Asuka will be facing at WrestleMania 35. WrestleVotes adds that there is a “plan” for Asuka but with them not wanting to pair her up against a RAW Superstar, it would have only left Lana or Zelina Vega for Elimination Chamber in a match that the company was in no hurry to do.
