Neville Was “Miserable” in WWE, Ricochet News, Enzo Amore Update
Former Cruisweight Champion Neville left WWE a few weeks ago rather unexpectedly to some fans. As to why this may have happened, Sean Waltman revealed on his 1-2-360 podcast that Neville seemed frustrated with his role in WWE when he spoke with him earlier in the year. Neville was reportedly greatly offended when WWE moved his match against Austin Aries at Wrestlemania 33 to the pre-show, and later removed it from the DVD. Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso reported that Neville was “miserable” in WWE as recently as January. Though Nevillle reportedly made a decent living in WWE, he allegedly hated how he was limited to the cruiserweight division, and his love for pro wrestling urged him to continue his career elsewhere.
Last night’s Lucha Underground episode was the final episode of the third season, and it may also be the final episode of the series unless a new season is announced sometime soon. Independent sensation Ricochet (Prince Puma on Lucha Underground) has been very vocal about wanting to leave, but now that the final episode has aired, he must wait just 90 more days until he can sign with any other professional wrestling organization. Ricochet posted a tweet right after the show finished airing, teasing that he will be moving on from Lucha Underground very soon. Most fans are speculating that he will join WWE’s NXT brand by 2018.

Enzo Amore has been the main focus of the cruiserweight division ever since he was moved into it earlier this year. This is reportedly because WWE knows how popular Enzo is with fans, and they want those fans to start watching 205 Live. According to Pro Wrestling Votes, the same account on Twitter that reported on Nia Jax and Neville walking out of WWE, Enzo is still not very popular amongst his peers. It was reported earlier this year that Enzo was forbidden to enter the WWE locker room, and the account mentions that this fact is still true right now. Enzo Amore recently dropped the Cruiserweight Championship to Kalisto, but he will have a rematch for the title this Sunday at TLC.
Regarding Enzo, I’m hearing the backstage heat is still real. As of last week, he was still not allowed in the locker room.
