Official | AS Monaco sign Ruben Aguilar from Montpellier

Ligue 1 side AS Monaco earlier today confirmed the arrival of French right-back Ruben Aguilar from Montpellier, for a reported €9m fee.

The 26-year-old has signed a 5-year contract with ASM, after a meteoric rise to the best of the French game over the course of 24 months.

DG Oleg Petrov had the following to say on the deal:

“We are very happy with the signing of Ruben Aguilar. He has shown his qualities and his consistency during the last two seasons with Montpellier. His arrival strengthens the competitiveness of our squad.”
