Official | Auxerre complete the loan signing of Mohamed Yattara

Mohamed Yattara has officially joined AJ Auxerre on a loan until the end of the season from Belgian club Standard Liege.

The former Lyon striker has failed to make an appearance for the Belgian side in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League and will join the Ligue 2 club for the rest of their campaign.

Yattara, who can play anywhere across the front line, has played 63 games in Ligue 1, scoring 6 goals during his time with Lyon and Angers, but Auxerre will be more interested in his Ligue 2 record during his spells with Troyes and Angers again, with 16 goals in 48 games, which is an impressive record.

The 23-year-old will be brought into the side in the hopes of adding more versatility to the Auxerre attack and will provide suitable back up to main striker Yoann Touzghar.
