PSG have held discussions with Thibaut Courtois’ entourage

RMC reported earlier this week that Belgian international goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is very interested in the PSG project and that the player’s representatives have been in contact with the capital club.

Les Parisiens have denied discussions with Courtois when contacted by said media outlet, and have gone even further, claiming that they are not in talks with any player for any transfer.

Chelsea do not want Courtois to leave, even with his current deal expiring in 2019, and would be willing to let him see out his final year even if it meant losing him for free in summer, according to a source at the London club contacted by RMC.

Courtois wants to leave Chelsea this summer, in part because of their lack Champions’ League football next season.
