RMC report that Ligue 1 side PSG have made initial approaches for 30-year-old Slovakian goalkeeper and Newcastle United shot-stopper Martin Dubravka, as they prepare for the potential departure of Kevin Trapp.

Should the German goalkeeper leave Les Parisiens, with Alphonse Areola expected to be Thomas Tuchel’s #1 next season, PSG are looking for a competent, experienced back-up option.

At the moment, talks have not developed any further than that, with L’Équipe claiming today that Tuchel himself is still not fully convinced either way about the future of Trapp, who has offers from FC Porto and Eintracht Frankfurt. He spent last season on loan at the latter outfit.
