It looks like the addition of the new WWE Universal Championship and the eventual WWE Cruiserweight Championship on the RAW brand won’t be the only new titles to be introduced in WWE in the near future.

Dave Meltzer noted during the latest edition of his show “Wrestling Observer Radio” at F4WOnline.com on Tuesday that the SmackDown Live brand will soon be introducing two new titles.

According to Meltzer, WWE will be debuting new WWE Women’s and WWE Tag-Team titles on the SmackDown Live brand, as their current roster of female Superstars and tag-team acts currently have nothing to fight for or achieve in their respective divisions.

As noted, the WWE Universal Championship will be awarded to the winner of the Finn Balor vs. Seth Rollins match at the upcoming WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
