Rusev Theft Update, The Rock’s Newest Movie, RVD Visits WWE HQ

This could turn out to be a very positive weekend for the Rusev Day clan if Rusev and Lana are successful in their Money in the Bank ladder matches this Sunday night. Unfortunately, the two of Smackdown superstars ran into a bit of trouble earlier this week when Rusev claimed that his items were stolen during his stay at a Sheraton hotel in Memphis, Tennessee. Rusev has written on Twitter that he plans on pressing charges against the hotel. Fox 13 Memphis has just now named a possible suspect connected to the crime. A cleaning woman named Portia Williams reportedly found Rusev’s wallet in a chicken box in the trash while he and Lana were away from their room. The money in Rusev’s wallet and Lana’s camera are still missing.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is much to busy to return to wrestling at the moment, but he is certainly keeping himself busy with all of the different projects that he is working on. The Hollywood actor has just announced some of the details of his newest film that he is scheduled to begin working on in the future. Johnson will be starring in what he described as an “international heist thriller” called Red Notice. The former wrestler will be acting alongside Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot and another unnamed actor in the new movie. The rights for the film were placed in a huge bidding war earlier this year, but the film will now be distributed by Universal Pictures. Expect to see Red Notice hit theaters within the next few years.

Rob Van Dam has not competed in a WWE ring for years, but the former WWE and ECW Champion still competes on a regular basis for several other promotions around the world. Although Rob Van Dam hasn’t wrestled on WWE programming in quite some time, Van Dam recently visited somewhere very interesting. Independent wrestler and Van Dam’s girlfriend, Katie Forbes, posted a photo on Instagram revealing that both she and Van Dam stopped by and visited WWE headquarters while they were in Connecticut recently. There is no word on why RVD was at WWE HQ at the moment, but it is possible that he was there to film some new material or just simply visit some old acquaintances.
