See Liv Morgan’s SD Call-Up, Impact Title Change, Cody vs. Juice
Liv Morgan has been growing and improving on Raw over the past few weeks and could potentially be a major player in WWE someday. Prior to joining Raw, Morgan worked on the NXT brand for a number of years. That all changed when she was brought up to the Smackdown roster last year as part of The Riott Squad trio with Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan. Morgan has just released videos online of her receiving the news that she would be joining the main roster last year. Morgan was in tears after she got the call and it was clearly a moment that was very special for her. The Riott Squad group is still going strong on Raw with leader Ruby Riott just recently returning from an injury during last week’s show.
Lmfao just found videos Dante recorded of me when I found out I was going to smackdown. I am so dramatic I’m crying ????

Impact Wrestling will commonly tape several week of their weekly television show in advance, and the result of that strategy is that match outcomes and possible title switches are spoiled online. During Impact’s most recent TV tapings, a title did indeed switch hands, so consider this a SPOILER warning in order to avoid this upcoming championship switch. During last night’s TV tapings, Tessa Blanchard defeated Allie and Su Yung in a Triple Threat match to win the Impact Knockouts Championship. This will mark Tessa’s first run with the championship after joining the promotion earlier this year. There is currently no word on exactly when the episode featuring the upcoming title change will be airing on Pop TV.

Cody Rhodes and Juice Robinson are two examples of wrestlers who would go on to make a name for themselves after leaving WWE. It now appears that the two rising wrestling stars are now on a path to face each other at some point in the near future. During the recent G1 Climax 28 final show for New Japan Pro Wrestling, Cody took a microphone after he and Hangman Page defeated Robinson and David Finlay, and he then challenged Robinson to a match for his IWGP United States Championship. As of right now, a date for the potential title match has not been set, but some fans have speculated that it may be taking place when NJPW returns to Long Beach, California on September 30th.
There’s room for only one Pirate in wrestling, according to Next US Champ @CodyRhodes. #G128
