Stay at Crown Towers Perth for the ultimate resort experience

The Western Australian capital is home to a number of great hotels, but if you’re looking for an immersive, all-in experience, you can’t beat the luxurious resort vibes of Crown Towers Perth. Opened in 2016, it was built on an expansive mass of land in Burswood, just outside of Perth’s CBD, Crown Towers is the, er, crown jewel of the hotel group that also includes Crown Promenade and Crown Metropol.

Boasting a grand glass-fronted entryway that opens to a lobby with awe-inspiringly high ceilings and a sleek reception desk, you can see why the Bates Smart-designed hotel has already won a number of hospitality awards.

There is no shortage of space at Crown Towers and the lobby even attaches onto a fancy lounge and bar called The Waiting Room, where you can order cocktails and wait for guests to arrive.

With its rose-gold ceiling and chandeliers, it’s also a stylish place to order some bar snacks and partake in a spot of people watching.

Offering 500 room options to stay in, including suites, villas or studios, Crown Towers is the largest hotel in Perth. It has been careful to furnish its rooms with quiet comfort, imbuing each space with neutral-toned furniture and carpet, and softly lit lamps. Huge windows look out onto the resort pool below and Perth’s Swan River and skyline, giving visitors the feeling of immense space and a unique perspective on the city.

Beds are expectedly plush and pillows are downy and soft, while the bathrooms are effortlessly luxurious. I stayed in a Premier Twin Room, which featured a standalone bath, separate shower and toilet space and an extensive range of bathroom amenities.

Downstairs, you’ll be spoilt for choice between testing out the various pools, lazing on daybeds in your own cabana or setting into the outdoor spa.

An outdoor restaurant called The Enclave is located nearby, but there’s sun-bed service available, too.

Be sure to book a treatment at the incredible spa, which has been designed to offer a world of quiet comfort and solitude.

Interiors have been done by Blainey North and they include huge treatments rooms boasting their own spa and a menu of treatments, including facials using ultra-luxurious La Prairie products which can be tailored to suit your skin’s individual needs.

The entire spa space is filled with a sense of zen, and we’re especially enamoured by the opulent vitality pool in the women’s treatment room. The soaking tub is hidden behind a heavy door and decorated with especially beautiful mosaic tiles and flanked by comfy day beds.

You may want to consider purchasing Crystal Club access during your stay. The club (pictured) offers a quieter, more intimate breakfast buffet experience than the downstairs breakfast at Epicurean, and you can also come back for afternoon snacks and Veuve Champagne later in the day.

The balcony also offers great views of Perth.

Of course, the other added benefit of staying at Crown is its easy access to a bunch of entertainment and activities. Located within easy walking distance to the casino, convention centre, and restaurants like Rockpool Bar & Grill, Nobu, Bistro Guillaume, Silks and Modo Mio, you’re so spoilt for choice, you’ll find it very hard to leave.
