It was recently revealed by WWE that Goldberg will be entering the WWE Hall of Fame during WrestleMania weekend in New Orleans in April. The former WCW megastar will be headlining this year’s class, but now that the Royal Rumble has come to an end, the time has come for the company to begin announcing more entrants. A tag team has officially been confirmed for this year’s class: none other than The Dudley Boyz will be joining the Hall of Fame this year. That’s right, not long after appearing on the 25th anniversary of Raw show, Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley have officially been announced as the newest members of the prestigious Hall of Fame.

BREAKING: As first reported by @CBSSports, @bullyray5150 and @TestifyDVon are the next inductees into the @WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2018! #WWEHOF https://t.co/ZaLsW20GWt

Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley together have formed one of the greatest tag teams in the history of professional wrestling. They have seen success in just about every single promotion that they have worked for over the past two decades. They first teamed up together in Extreme Championship Wrestling before moving over to WWE. They have won tag team gold in promotions such as ECW, WWE, and TNA Wrestling, and Bubba Ray Dudley even managed to capture the TNA World Heavyweight Championship on two different occasions. The Dudley Boyz are cited as one of the most innovative, extreme, and decorated tag teams of all time. Instead of tables, Bubba and D-Von will be getting their rings this April.

The WWE Hall of Fame class this year already looks like a promising lineup of deserving names. The Dudley Boyz and Goldberg are both great entrants for the Hall of Fame, but two other former champions in WWE are now rumored to be entering this year’s class. PWInsider is reporting that former Women’s Champion Ivory will be getting inducted this year as the female entrant. Additionally, former World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry could also be joining this year’s class as well. Names such as Bam Bam Bigelow and Kid Rock are also rumored to be announced as members of this year’s Hall of Fame class. This year’s Hall of Fame ceremony takes place on April 6th at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
