The best street style from Taipei Fashion Week spring/summer 2020

Although Taipei Fashion Week, which launched last year, officially runs from October 4 to 13, the capital of Taiwan is hosting fashion events for nearly an entire month from September 27 to October 20. Names to watch out for include emerging designers C Jean and Jenn Lee, who both celebrate their heritage in their collections, along with sustainable brand Story Wear. 

Beyond celebrating fashion, Taipei Fashion Week also brings together the worlds of music and art. American-Taiwanese singer ØZI wrote a special theme song for Taipei Fashion Week x ’s Fashion Night Out 2019. Across the city, Nuit Blanche Taipei — the global contemporary arts festival that transforms public spaces into artistic installations — was timed to coincide with fashion week; Taiwan also hosted a street show to mark the festivities.
