– Today’s wrestling birthdays include Marty Jannetty (53) and WWE Hall of Famer Dory Funk Jr. (72). Today would have been the 53rd birthday for the late WWE Hall of Famer Kerry Von Erich.

– WWE held their annual “Pre-Game Pandemonium” live events this afternoon prior to this evening’s NFL Super Bowl. RAW held a show from Birmingham, Alabama while SmackDown was in Augusta, Georgia. The RAW show was headlined by John Cena and Ryback vs. CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler, while the SmackDown show saw Alberto Del Rio vs. Big Show in the main event.

– The Rock tweeted the following picture of himself with the WWE Championship over the weekend during a photo shoot for his new reality competition show on TNT,The Hero:
