While we once relied on travel agents, magazines and TripAdvisor to tell us what was hot in travel—today, anyone with an Instagram account (and a photo editing app or two) has the ability to become a travel-trend forecaster. In fact, when it comes to travelling in 2019, Instagram dictates the trends before they become just that. Recently, travel site Travel Supermarket analysed these trends, searching through the most popular hashtags from some of the most picturesque seafronts in the world. 

While you probably don’t need an excuse to pack your swimmers, towel and sundress and take a beach holiday, if you’re looking for some fresh inspiration for your next escape, why not take a leaf from those who’ve travelled and ‘grammed before you? From Bali to the Bahamas, if you have a bit of a thing for salty hair, white sand and turquoise waters that stretch out to the horizon, you’re going to want to take note of these truly sensational beaches from all over the world.  Happy hunting!
