Tyler Breeze to wrestle at EVOLVE 129 and 130
Though Kyle O’Reilly won’t be able to wrestle at EVOLVE 129 and 130 this weekend, another WWE wrestler has been added to the shows.
EVOLVE has announced that Tyler Breeze will be in action at EVOLVE 129 in Queens, New York this Saturday and EVOLVE 130 in Brooklyn, New York on Sunday. Breeze vs. AR Fox is set for Queens, and Breeze vs. Anthony Greene has been confirmed for Brooklyn.
These matches will be the first time Breeze has wrestled for EVOLVE.
Breeze recently returned to the NXT roster. He unsuccessfully challenged for Velveteen Dream’s North American Championship at TakeOver: XXV earlier this month.
It was announced yesterday that O’Reilly wouldn’t be able to wrestle at EVOLVE 129 and 130. O’Reilly tweeted on June 14 that his back was still hurt after the Tag Team title ladder match at TakeOver XXV: “The medical man told me my back is still hurt so unfortunately I won’t be able to attend @DownloadFest this year. Im sorry to all the great UK fans, believe me I’m gutted to be missing @Tool but at least now @rikbugez has an actual chance of winning the air guitar contest.”
Breeze, O’Reilly, Bobby Fish, Roderick Strong, and Tommaso Ciampa will be doing meet and greets at EVOLVE 129 and 130. Strong will also be wrestling at the shows.
