That’s right, Vogue Festival is returning to Adelaide in 2019, and it’s slated to be bigger and better than ever before. In fact, this year, the event, which typically runs for just two days, has announced it’s adding an extra one in order to fit in all the fashion, fun and food it plans to offer.

In 2019, Vogue Festival is gearing up to take over Rundle Mall and the East End from Thursday October 17 to Saturday October 19, and for the first time ever, plans to welcome GQ Australia to the celebrations. To join in on all the festivities, be sure to secure your tickets here.

Presented by Vogue Australia, in partnership with Rundle Mall, the City of Adelaide and the South Australian Tourism Commission, Vogue Festival will host fashionable parades, pop-ups, street parties, live music and so much more. Exclusive promotions will be on offer, outdoor activations will be set up and discounts will be made available to redeem.

Supporting partner David Jones will be welcoming two days of parades, pop-up bars, styling sessions, beauty treatments, DJ sets, and exclusive promotions, Messina will be hosting a pop-up store, Spendless Shoes Slide Lab will be giving shoppers the opportunity to collaborate with a local artist on personalised slides, and Hype DC and R.M.Williams will be joining forces to bring an immersive pop-up bar to the Gawler Place Canopy.

The hotly-anticipated event’s extended program is also set to welcome the Vogue Kitchen Lunch and GQ Supper Club at Sean’s Kitchen on Thursday 17 October, together with Voices of Vogue Festival from Friday October 18 to Saturday October 19.

After joining Sean’s Kitchen in celebrating 60 years of Vogue Australia with wine by Seppeltsfield Barossa and a three-course meal at Vogue’s Kitchen Lunch on Thursday October 17, be sure to visit Rundle Mall’s ‘Mall’s Balls’ for the official launch of the festival at 12pm on Friday with Vogue Australia editor-in-chief Edwina McCann. GQ Australia will follow up the event with its inaugural GQ Supper Club, hosted by GQ editor Mike Christensen at 6.30pm, in the same beloved location.

From Friday through to Saturday, Voices of Vogue Festival will see a series of fashion-focused panels take centre stage. At 3:30pm on October 18, McCann and Christensen will be joined by fashion editor of The Australian Glynis Traill-Nash, as they kick off the seminars with Meet the Editors, and delve deeper into the future of the fashion industry.

This panel will be followed by Meet the Movers & Shakers at 5:00pm, where social media influencer Rozalia Russian, celebrity stylist and GQ contributor Elliot Garnaut and digital director of Vogue Australia Julia Frank will meet to discuss the changing social media landscape. Meet the Beauty Mogul is up next on October 19 at 10:00am, as influencer Elle Ferguson shares her journey from fashion mogul to beauty boss with Vogue’s senior beauty and health editor, Remy Rippon.

At 11:30am, you’ll have the opportunity to hear Vogue’s fashion editor and market director Phillipa Moroney talk to South Australia’s Kathryn Forth of Acler, along with Johnny Schembri from By Johnny, during Meet the Directors x Designers. Soon after, stop by the Meet the Slow Fashion Movement panel for a Q&A with Vogue sustainability editor Clare Press, Anny Duff of Good Studios, and Emily Sheahan of SWOP Clothing Exchange & Vintage Fashion.
