WATCH: ‘The Fiend’ Shocks Toronto in First Ever Entrance at WWE SummerSlam
After months of waiting, The Fiend finally descended upon the WWE Universe this Sunday at SummerSlam. Bray Wyatt’s disturbing new alter ego sauntered to the ring cloaked in shadow, carrying a nightmarish new lantern made out of… well, his own head.
Wyatt hasn’t wrestled in a WWE ring since August 2018 when his former tag team partner, Broken Matt Hardy, was pulled from the road due to injuries believed to be career-threatening at the time.

Shortly after WrestleMania, vignettes began airing for the Firefly Fun House, featuring a totally different Wyatt on the set of a children’s television show playing out in his own incredibly deranged mind. Or at least, that’s the prevailing theory. Fans were introduced to characters like Rambling Rabbit and Mercy the Buzzard – all puppets paying tribute to memories from Bray’s past.
One thing all the characters in Firefly Fun House have in common is that they are all absolutely terrified of one thing – The Fiend. This Sunday at WWE SummerSlam, we saw exactly why. Check out his first official entrance below, including an absolutely sick remix of his original theme “Live in Fear” provided by Code Orange.
