What it’s like to attend VAEFNO 2019 in Melbourne as a Vogue VIP

On Thursday August 29, Vogue Australia hosted its highly-anticipated one-day-only shopping extravaganza, Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out, in Melbourne’s bustling CBD.

The event, which celebrated its fifth birthday in the fashion-forward city, and served to kick off Vogue Australia’s 60th birthday celebrations, also happened to welcome the first-ever Vogue VIP Members’ Lounge, in honour of the recent launch of our exciting new subscribers-only loyalty program.

With so much to celebrate and so many exclusive offers available to shop, in-store activations to make the most of, and live performances to enjoy, VAEFNO 2019 proved to be one of the annual event’s best yet. 

On the day, Australian musicians Thandi Phoenix and Cxloe entertained the masses on the Vogue stage, American Express entertained its Card Members with DJ performances and New York-street-themed bagels and Mumm champagne in its luxe lounge, David Jones welcomed countless shoppers and R.M.Williams brought The Hut, its much-loved travelling workshop, to the annual shopping extravaganza.
