The second name of the three-person announce team is none other than, SoCal Val. SoCal has previously worked with TNA and is currently a host with FITE TV and she commented on getting the chance to join the announce team, stating that it is a huge honor, especially as a female.

The third and final name is one that will be very familiar to most wrestling fans as former WWE Superstar and leader of the Nexus, Stu Bennett (f.k.a Wade Barrett) will be part of the commentary team.

Bennett commented on his new role, telling fans to get ready for something massive as he has brought the absolute best of the UK scene and they are going to blow peoples minds.

PROGRESS Contingency Plan

PROGRESS Wrestling will host its latest Chapter event next Sunday, which happens to be the same time as the World Cup Final. With England still in the tournament and a heavy favorite to make the final, many fans have been asking the company what their plan is if England does make it.

PROGRESS has confirmed that they do have a contingency plan in place for if England make the final and that would mean the show would have a later finish than originally planned.

Had lots of variations on this question today, so here's the answer: yes, we have a contingency plan should #ENG make the World Cup Final.
