WWE Blamed for Massive Transportation Problem After WrestleMania 35

— New Jersey Transit released a statement blaming WWE for the significant delays after WrestleMania in getting people to their homes. Some fans had to wait hours for transit, while others were waiting into the early hours of Monday for Uber to get them home.

“The primary factor contributing to the post-event delays was the WWE’s decision to extend the event to 12:30 a.m., which had significant operational impacts on the evening. NJ Transit was not informed of this decision until late last night.”

— The city was originally told that the event would last until 10:30 PM or so but a day before the PPV, were informed that it would be extended past midnight. WWE released a statement on the matter:

“We regret any inconveniences fans may have experienced with mass transportation after the event.”
