Rumors claiming that WWE is interested in signing several wrestlers in early 2019 have begun to surface lately. Impact Wrestling’s Trevor Lee and MLW’s Shane Strickland are two of names who have been said to be leaving their current promotion to join WWE very soon. Meanwhile, PWInsider has now reported that the company wants to bring in former Ring of Honor competitor, ACH. ACH has competed in promotions such as ROH, MLW, and New Japan Pro Wrestling over the course of his career. Although the report noted that he had been in talks to return to ROH, those discussions came to an end a while ago. It also appears as if ACH will definitely be finishing up his current obligations and will join the NXT brand by this January.
Team SmackDown earned a victory over Team Raw during the tag team elimination match on the Survivor Series Kickoff show this past Sunday night. This is why it was curious to see WWE ignore the victory and claim that Raw won every match against the blue brand during Survivor Series. On SmackDown last night, Xavier Woods was seen wearing a “6-1” shirt in reference to his team’s win over the weekend. Prior to the show, a fan dared Woods to wear the shirt during the broadcast, and clearly, the former tag team champion went through with the task. Woods’ shirt was not acknowledged by the SmackDown announce team either, signifying that Xavier did in fact wear the factually correct t-shirt all on a dare.

It has certainly been a while since an update on Aron Stevens has been provided. Wrestling fans best know Stevens for his time competing as Damien Sandow in WWE, and for his stint as Aron Rex in Impact Wrestling. Stevens has chosen to take a hiatus from wrestling in order to focus on building up an acting career for himself. During an appearance on the No Holds Barred podcast, the former WWE Tag Team Champion revealed his newest upcoming project. Stevens is set to appear on Midnight, Texas on NBC very soon. The show is currently in its second season, and fans of the show can expect to see the Money in the Bank contract winner on the show with a few familiar callbacks to his wrestling days.
“I don’t want to spoil anything but I’ll definitely be on there in the
next few weeks. Look for me and I’ll give you a hint. I’m no angel and I
definitely use my skills in the ring on the show and we will say that.”
Aron said.
