WWE Toronto Main Event Ends Quickly After Samoa Joe Bleeds Heavily (Photos and Videos)

The main event of tonight’s WWE Toronto live event saw Roman Reigns face Samoa Joe, and at one point in the bout, Joe was legitimately busted open. Despite Joe not wanting the match to end, the referee eventually called for the bell, ending both the match and the event.

Joe and Reigns were brawling on the outside of the ring when Joe was busted open over his eye, and after being checked on by WWE officials, the call was made to end the bout. You can check out photos and video below.

The injury took place just two nights after fellow WWE Raw star Paige suffered an injury which is keeping her off the rest of WWE’s holiday live events. Additionally, Raw star Braun Strowman was sent home from the rest of the holiday tour due to sickness.

As we noted earlier this week, Samoa Joe will challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Intercontinental Championship on Raw Monday night in Miami, and if Reigns is disqualified in the match, he will lose the Title.
