You can now own Jennifer Lopez’s iconic green Versace dress for $12,290

If you’re a fan of high fashion, pop icons and have a spare $12,000 to burn then this one’s for you! You can now buy Jennifer Lopez’s iconic Versace dress to break the internet until your heart’s content.

The iconic green dress first gained notoriety back in 2000 when Jennifer Lopez walked the Grammy Awards red carpet in it. A combination of the incredible Versace print and JLo’s enviable body meant the red carpet moment went ‘viral’ which for 2000, meant people tried to search the dress on Google in order to see it for themselves. Fun fact! This led to the creation of Google Images. The dress recently made headlines again when Lopez closed the Versace spring/summer 2020 show at Milan Fashion Week in a replica of the look.

And now, it can be yours. If you have $12,290 that is. 

The printed embellished silk maxi dress is currently for sale at Moda Operandi for a cool $12, 290 – which, as a positive, is in Australian dollars! The dress is the replica one Lopez strutted down the Versace runway in just last week and features the iconic jungle print, floral embellished details and of course that plunging v-neckline with an open back.

The dress is made of 100 per cent silk, is dry clean only and is made in Italy. 

You can pre-order it here but you might want to hurry – according to Vestiaire Collective, following Lopez’s appearance on the runway last week, searches for the item skyrocketed, increasing 10 per cent week on week.
