The Young Bucks have added a new stipulation to their match against AEW Tag Team Champions FTR at the Full Gear pay-per-view.

During a sitdown interview on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, the Bucks told Excalibur that if they don’t win the titles at Full Gear, they will never challenge for them again.

The Bucks also explained their recent actions in superkicking various people backstage, including Tony Schiavone and Alex Marvez. Matt explained that sometimes good people do bad things. He and Nick have been missing an edge, and when FTR started to mess with the Bucks and their friends, it lit a spark under them to do something more. It was Matt’s idea to add the stipulation.

The segment also featured FTR, interviewed from a separate area. Dax Harwood said that while this may be a dream match, they care more about retaining the titles. When Excalibur asked Nick to further expand on some of Matt’s comments, the champions got mad and left the interview.

This is identical to a stipulation from last year where Cody said if he was unable to beat Chirs Jericho for the AEW World title, he would never challenge for it again. He lost and the stipulation has stuck.
